Eco-index

Eco-index began as a research programme within the Biological Heritage National Science Challenge. When the challenge ended, Eco-index evolved into a purpose-driven business with the vision of weaving knowledge and people to revolutionise investment for te taiao.

Catherine was the Communication and Relationships Manager from the early days of the research programme in 2020 to the business closure in 2026. She was responsible for the development and management of:

– Communication strategy & planning
– Science translation and knowledge sharing
– Relationship management
– Digital map UI and UX development (with developers)
Eco-index website, newsletters, media releases, blogs and social media
Video development and production
– Report design and proof-reading
– Ecology input and validation
– Contributions to research and business strategy
